Cigar 101
Everything you need to know about smoking cigars, in just 6 easy steps

Cut your cigar properly
Use a cigar cutter to make a clean cut about 1/8 to 1/4 inch from the cap. Cut too little and the cigar may unravel, cut too much and the wrapper may tear.

Toast your cigar
Hold the cigar at a 45-degree angle and toast the foot (open end) with a lighter or match until it starts to glow. Rotate the cigar to ensure an even burn.

Don't inhale
Unlike cigarettes, cigars are not meant to be inhaled. Savor the flavors by taking slow, steady puffs and allowing the smoke to linger in your mouth before exhaling.

Pair with the right beverage
Pair your cigar with a complementary beverage, such as whiskey or coffee. Avoid pairing with sugary drinks or anything too acidic.

Store your cigars
Keep your cigars in a humidor at the right temperature and humidity levels to ensure they stay fresh and don't dry out.

Don't Rush
Cigars are meant to be enjoyed slowly. Take your time and savor the flavors and aromas.
